Hi Ladies
I just wanted to show you my first two blocks (excuse the poor photo).
I am using Buttercup by Fig Tree. Ahh Fig Tree my new love.
This is my first attempt at needleturn and i am not using freezer paper or glue or anything. My cherries are abit a lot wonky but that's OK, as you will get to know me you will often see me write "near enough is good enough" and Suzitee and Tracey can vouch that, that is my quilting motto. It has to have some mistakes on it or it wouldn't be mine.
I do love the puffy puffiness of this type of needleturn, so although my first attempt is by no means perfect i am very happy with the end result. (and hey, i can only get better right?)
Off now to start on the tea cups
Happy Sunday everyone.
Linda

Hi Linda, I love your blocks and your motto. Your doing better than me, I'm not game enough to put the cherries on yet! Have fun with the tea cut, I enjoyed that one.

Great job and very pretty blocks.
I finished my first block last night and as soon as I press it and photograph it, I'll post. I am a beginner, too and I think you did a fabulous job on these.

In case you're wondering, I still haven't started yet. I kid myself that I'm waiting to finish some other projects, but the reality is....I can't decide whether to use Strawberry Fields or Delilah by Tanya Whelan. Which one? HELP!
