I am so delighted with our new SAL book.... isn't is full of scrumptiousness?
The hardest part in a quilt to me is choosing the colours at the beginning...
I have these fabrics which I bought from a friend who was having a clean out.... I know they will all coordinate with each other.... I just need some more of the background neutrals for the applique/stitcheries.... and I will do the strips in colours ...
(they are not actually as bright as the picture looks)
and I'm not yet 100% sure on it
It's lovely meeting a few of the 'newbies' this year.... and I'm looking forward to stitching this lovely quilt and some of the extra's with friends over the next year...

From the photos - I LUV the fabrics - though of course in real life they may be different - maybe pastels for the backgrounds instead of cream ??- I see a few lighter tones on tones that could be interesting
looking great......it's fun choosing fabrics to start a new project.........
I like your choices and looks like you have several that will do for backgrounds....I like to use coordinating fabrics such as these.
