Tis the Season - done.......
Thanks to Chookyblue's gentle nudging whip cracking I have finished my Tis the Season quilt! The top was done a while ago and then it languished on the quilt rack......waiting......the deadline was looming and I foolishly thought that it wouldn't matter if the top became a quilt by the end of September.....I was looking forward to the next SAL......but no....Chooky was having none of that....finish or you can't come and play on the next one.....what??? So.......I set aside a couple of days over the weekend to quilt the top.....set up the machine.....did one block....didn't like it....unpicked it and set about hand quilting with perle thread........nothing got done around the house......and I didn't even shower...LOL.....(just as well I live alone!!).....Chooky's influence is great.....so at 11.20pm last night I put the last stitch in the binding. And here it is..........................

and wasn't that gentle nudge well worth it.........gorgeous........and finished........thanks for being part of this SAL.......and yes NOW you can start the 3rd SAL.........welcome.......lol......just have a shower first......lucky we don't have smelly internet.....lol...

Wov from here too;) It's gorgeous! Especially those stitcheries on the corners are nice!
And it was worth it...it looks fantastic...love the stitchery cornerstones, great touch...
