I keep checking in but there have been no posts since Friday...
I am wondering if anyone has done any work on their new project. It is going to be a challenge for me and I'd like to see some step by steps if you please before we see the finished blocks.
Thanks....

2010 A Gardener's Journal by Anni Downs..... 2011 Tis the Season by Natalie Bird.... 2012 Some Kind Of Wonderful by Anni Downs......
1st SAL.....Peg, Dale and I committed to stitching Anni Downs - A Gardener's Journal in March 2010. We have set the time frame as completed March 2011. I blogged about this on my blog thinking maybe one or 2 others may join us and lots of girls indicated an interest so I decided to start this blog where we can all encourage each other to meet the goals set along the way................
2nd SAL ......well so many of the girls wanted to continue on with another project and some new girls joined us and now approx 91 girls are stitching Natalie Bird's Tis the Season. March to Sept 2011
Where are we now.....3rd SAL....many girls want to stick with the SAL so now we have moved onto Anni Downs Some Kind of Wonderful - My Favourite Things Quilt.......Oct 2011-Oct 2012......Welcome.....Chookyblue........Not taking any new participants now sorry....

I am, at this moment, teaching myself to appliqué :) I'm trying the "freezer paper on top" method at the moment :)
Haven't started mine yet, doing a bit of Secret Santa sewing instead but I have bought my background fabrics
I have started one block and hope to post it either today or tomorrow. I have started with "singing in the rain", a nice simple on to get me into the swing of things.
love me :-)
Well that is a bit of a challenge!! And Elisa has posted - I am itching to start but other things seem to get in the way.

Sorry for the triple post - blame the slowness of the system where I work!
I'm really looking forward to seeing some posts on this quilt too. Any tips along the way would be great!

I'm starting right now!!!
