Nope I haven't fallen off the face of the earth...but I stumbled and am now crawling to the finish line...first up is the reverse sewing of the machine quilting that just isn't working for me...I started hand quilting something else this week with perle thread and ever since the first line of quilting TTS has been yelling out to me that it wants to be treated in the same manner so that is it...hand quilting with perle thread it will be...after the reverse stitching that is...hoping to be back in the not too distant future with progress...and to spur me on my copy of SKoW is in full view mocking me to get going...
Well done to everyone who hasn't stumbled and fallen with the finish line just out of reach...all your quilts are awesome...

Keep going with it!! You'll be pleased when it's finished off the way you like it!! I'm just about to start hand quilting after reverse stitching my machine quilting!

Your handstitching will be lovely! I absolutely love that perle thread look. It's so right for this quilt! Having said that, you'll notice I hurried mine along with machine quilting because of the mocking book. Good on you for not giving in to the mocking book!
Seems we are being mocked with all these delays...hang in there.
