Thought I would start with this block as it was nice a simple and a good one to get me teeth into. I have chosen Butterscotch & Roses by Fig Tree for my fabric, I have started with a layer cake and will by some yardage shortly.
I am doing blanket stitch as I have not long been quilting so I wanted to stick with something that I know.

Looks great! I am thinking of using the blanket on some like this one that have such curves but will try the needle turn also....hope it will look okay.
