Phew!

It's been a mixed bag of a month and for a while I thought I'd have to title this post "Stitching till midnight"! Finished the little wall hanging half an hour ago - phew!

It's been great to see all the different versions ; now here's mine - and I love it. Wonky (some deliberate, some not!) stitching, Kate Spain Fa-la-la fabrics, no hanger because it's going to be blu-tacked to a door (lazy, but it works and saves extra holes in the wall/door). Done!

April done, now for May

Just checking in with my finished April project. I still need to put some kind of hanger on the back, and I'm unsure if I'll do any quilting on it, or leave it as is-we will see. Now to go and look at May's project!

Thanks
Leonie

April is finished

Yay & with less than 12 hours to spare my April SAL project is finished.

I choose to make mine long & skinny so I could hang it in a skinny wall space

Fabric is an old range of French General

I'll have an 'A' thanks Chooky

I THINK I MADE IT

To get it made by the deadline!!!!
this is 'hot' off the sewing table---
it doesn't look it==but there is another all red point on the left on the bottom--
you just have to look close--
I also did mine in this manner cause it will take up less wall space or will work on the door--
and speaking of the door--that is where I took the picture--
Smiles and hugs, di and miss gracie

Ready for Xmas Bon Noel

Just finished in time........................  I really enjoyed this one. I just used lots of scraps from my stash. I used double sided cotton batting instead of pelon, it worked well when it came to quilting.

April Done

Almost two days to spare and I have a finish.

April wall hanging

I started to make my wall hanging a few days ago and I finished
it yesterday!!! I'm glad I made it!!! Now I can start making the
beautiful bag for the month of May!!!

                                   Have a nice day!!!
                                         Martine

My Bon Noel is finished.

I have had the stitcheries done for a couple of weeks but had a few other things to finish before I could put them together.  I decided that I too would go for the long version as this suits where I want to hang at Xmas.
For the stitcheries I used a Cottage Garden thread called Blue Wren and chose some Nancy Halvorsen blue fabrics from my stash.
Mark me off for April please Chooky.

My little Christmas wall hanging

Hello everyone.
I`ve been away for a week.
I went to stay with my sister down south.
We both attended
Anni Downs workshop.
Learnt lots.
Before that some secret stitching for a friends birthday gift.
Plus I had stitched and finished my
TTS Bon Noel Wall hanging .
This is my first chance to blog.

These are the three designs that I choose to stitch.
All ready to put in Christmas box ready for December.
Off to sort fabrics for next months project.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

Is Christmas just around the corner?

Woah!  Eight months to go before we can hang our Bon Noel!  This is my version of Bon Noel.  It has been great seeing all the different versions, colors and fabrics.  That is the best part of belonging to this SAL!  I love all these little projects.  They make great gifts!
I think a nice hanger and some rusty little bells would finish this off just perfect.  I will have to look for bells now!

Christmas in April

My April panel is done !
This month I literally respect the explanations...including the color !

I used my leftovers of the BOM Christmas Fun and I'm very pleased with the result.
I've seen many beautiful versions during this month !! Bravo !

Long Time.... SKoW

I finally can post some progress on last years SAL , Some Kind of Wonderful.

I had full intention of keeping up even though I got excepted a little later than others and it shouldn't of  made a difference. And then my daughters who was having twins developed complications and I ended up away from home a good deal this past year.
But Yeppie I have something to show.

The boys are doing great and I'm back in the swing of things. Have 3 rows to go and I hope to show more soon.
Until then

April done!

I had  finished the stitcheries for the Stitch-a-long a while ago but hadn't found or made the time to put it together. Yesterday was Anzac day here so there was a little time to sew this together. Feel like adding some rusty bells after seeing Fiona's wonderful hanging.
No stitchery done in the waitingroom of the
hospital. Why???????? I forgot the most important
thing............my needle!!!!!

Only 5 days..................

I just have 5 days to finish the April project.
I was so busy sewing on other projects that I didn't had
the time to work on this one.
Today, I have to go to the hospital with my son for a
check up, so I quickly draw the stitchery and I'm going
to sew in the waitingroom.

                                   Have a nice day,
                                      Martine

Using My Pass Card

Yes, title says it all!  This month I have had Stocktake, a Manager out on Annual Leave and just to top it all off, Business Improvement instore conducting a Risk Review for 2 days (and no, all did not go well).......no time and no mood for stitching in April........so time to redeem my "Pass Go and Do Not Collect On The Sidebar'' card......on a lighter note, I have enjoyed looking at all the lovely finished projects.......Go SAL Gal's!

April..... Tick!

I just love seeing everyone's version of this months project.
I can't believe how different the same piece can look by using different colours and fabrics.
They're wonderful!
This is my version of the little Christmas wallhanging.
I just love the little stitcheries... it was difficult to decide on which three to use.
Happy Stitching everyone!!!

Tis Done!

Hi everyone,

Here's my April project all done and dusted almost two weeks before the deadline.
I decided to make my banner long and skinny by turning everything on its side. This was so that it could hang in various small spaces.

What a fun little project.
I love all the finished banners I'm seeing on the blog. Congratulations to everyone who has finished April so far.

AN EARLY FINISH

Hi everyone, hope you are all happily stitching away to finish this months project on time. I loved doing this one as Christmas is a happy time of the year where I get to see all my family together. I chose these particular designs as I think they will appeal more to my grand children. There`s Santa who they all love along with his reindeer and the angel who sits on top of the tree. I will go see what we have for next month and see if I can get an early start. Bye for now Jude from judesstuff.

April Greetings From Finland!

Hello all my SAL friends!

I have seen many BeaUTiFuL and impressive wall hangings during this month at our blog!
Today
I'm happy to show you my version of Bon Noel ;o)

Here is those three stitchery patterns, which I chose.
And yes ;o) I made few changes - again!!!
My birdies welcome Bon Noel sitting in their Christmas tree. Maybe they are right now decorating it?!?

An angel has an appliqued star in her hands. And I used - as many of us - more color in stitcheries: different kind of reds, yellows greens and grays...

When I thought of the fabrics I noticed that this pattern is 5" x 5" charm friendly.
You'll need only 8 charm pieces for this top.
 Isn't it nice?
I used fabrics of Basic Grey's 'Blitzen' collection.

I hope you all enjoy this project as much as I did...
now toward May!
Can you believe May is soon here? It's horrific how time flies...

wishing you a creative stitching time
