I just finished August(oops still missing some stitches)

It is only a week left for finishing top. I don't know I can do it, but I will do my best.

We had a terrible tsunami-like fload storms last week in Budapest turning squares into lakes and streets ro raging rivers. My workplace had been seriously damaged, I was very nervous and shoked for days.  It was relaxing to have this beautiful pattern at home, though all this experience had an effect, it is far not as perfect as I can sew, but well... sewing this was a healing and felt much better and the "scars" are mine, in my heart, on my quilt.

August Greetings from Finland!

I can't believe this is our next to last project together...

and I can't believe that I have done all SAL 2013 projects;o)

... so far...

And one thing, which makes me smile even more...

I have been able to add HEXAGONS almost in every projects ;oD

I "cheated" little with the stitcheries... I stitched only one of the patches of the bag front, because I wanted to use those sewing themed fabrics.

I surely hope that Chookyblue (& her assistant whip cracker) has enough time and strength to continue our inspiring SAL -group also in the next year!

I have DEEPLY ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT with YOU...

The stitching bag for August

This is such a lovely bag that I have hesitated to use it! I wouldn't want to get it dirty!

I am so pleased I chose to skip the stitching on the sewing case and fussy cut babushka dolls. I love how the case has turned out. 

I will be making this case again!

August and a P

I'm sorry but I didn't make the bag for this month. I already have one and time won't allow me to make another as I'm off on holidays at the end of the month. Instead I started on Septembers project as I don't want another "P" beside my name.
Sorry...
