Stitch A Long - Block G

Yay!! I have finished my Block G, I had a little glitch though I
was just about to put the final seam to my block when hubby
noticed that one piece was upside down, at first I thought he was
pulling my leg, but no he wasn't, some of my fabric has writing on it and it was upside down.

I'm sooo glad that this was picked up on the first block and not the tenth.

Can I say Hi to my friend Linda from Balranald in New South Wales, you see she is also
stitching with us and following along, I went to visit and showed her what we were doing and
she has joined us, she doesn't have a blog yet but I'm sure with a little encouragement
we may hear from her. So come on Linda take the plunge into blogland and say hi.

Happy Stitching!!

So far........

What a wonderful motivation this group is to get my beautiful quilt put together.  This has been an in between project over the last probably three years.

When Chookyblue issued her challenge and the Stitch-A-Long was born all my stitcheries were complete and almost all of my fabric cut and sorted.

One more block to put together and then to put the whole top together.  Excitement is growing here at Eleanor and Ruby

I am enjoying so much seeing the beginnings of so many different ideas and choices for this quilt.

Mine has been made completely from my stash, except I have purchased the borders. So much fun to Stitch-A-Long with you all.  Hopefully the final block will be put together today and maybe even begin to piece the top.   It's a public holiday here, so lovely to be at home with hopefully some time to stitch a little.
