Done and on time!

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I had to use my pass for the May project but I'm happy to say my June pincushion is done!
There was a lot more work in this little thing than I had first thought but it was worth it as I love the way it turned out.
Fabrics are Rural Jardin by French General for Moda except the one with the big bird. I'm not sure about that one.


Now to have a look at what I need to do for July.

Hi everyone,
I think I must like living on the edge as I'm finished my March project but with only a couple of days to spare.
I've made this pincushion before. It's such a cute design.

Here we go again, the beginning of another quilt , I decide to start with June as it is the longest block to finish, I will now start on block for April and May and try and catch up.

Instructions versus destructions

I have finished Pulling the weeds and My gardener has grey Gum Boots, because without the book with instructions I used destruction's . As she didn't have any other flesh showing I thought she was allergic to mosquitoes. Margaret

Drain pipe or side of house ?

G,Day or night, whatever the case may be. On the stitchery of the house there are three lines on the rh side , I don't know about the third, two are the veranda posts . Is the third the side of the house ? I have scrolled through and the two persons that have finished this block they have the three lines the same. It helps if you are a one colour stitcher .

I scanned these as I want to take them down to Cobden Tomorrow. Not quiet finished, however they will be tonight. One small mistake Ladybirds have black heads.

Interesting Jouney swapping stories with friends old and new.

Today was the beginning of what I expect to be an interesting journey. That said we had a journey to travel before I can get started, now that sounds a bit Irish , well I have some Irish blood running through my veins. With school holidays and Easter holidays on the horizon the Highway to Cobden was a tad busy for the first hour to Colac and then it slackened off a little 'till the Purrumbete turnoff. Andrea and I looked at threads and then when that was finished I sat on her back porch while ----

Present

Today I gave Andrea her book as a present for her birthday. Andrea will do the quilting part and I will do the stitcheries, We are both lookng forward to starting on this project. Elizabeth and Andrea are twins, they never looked alike yet people said they were identical.
