I finished off the January project last night by turning it into a little Wall hanging.

Now to concentrate on the Quilt.

My way of coping!

I took my Master 16 off to Vic Roads this morning for his Learners Test.

He passed!  I am so not ready for that so my way of coping .... retail therapy.

So on the way home I stopped in at one of my Local Quilt Shops and sitting on the counter was 

Annie's "Natures Journey" pattern.

They also had some fabrics kitted up for a starter pack.

Looks like I am ready to start.

I'm interested to see how you break this one up for us Chooky.

In the meantime I need to work out what to turn this into :o)

I'm looking forward to stitching this one with everyone and seeing everyone's fabric selections.

My "Scrumptious" Sewing Case

I've enjoyed making this one so much I've already started a second!

I have teamed a Linen up with "Scrumptious" by Bonnie and Camille.

I don't like to do zips but I must say the method used in this was so user friendly.

For the time being it is sitting on my shelf  "looking pretty" :o)

LIttle House Pincushion

I hadn't worked with such small hexagons before.

There were not as bad as I had anticipated.

My SKOW Bag - May

I wanted to make mne the same as the book but I am trying to use what I have

and the only Linen I had on hand was blue, so that is what I went with

and I am loving how it looks.

I used a Cottage Gardens Thread - Peacock No. 1201

I left out the slit in the back for fear that I would "stuff it up"

and when it came to the inside I added a pocket, a "d ring" and

a magnetic clasp.

I am so looking forward to seeing how everyone makes this bag their own.
