Catching up.......
Catching up with March while my girls are at netball training. I had to take this photo on the bonnet of the car in the wind. Hope to get this March one and April one done before the end of the month. I'm still loving the colours I have chosen. Can't wait to start to put it together
Cheers Kez

Finished - just in time!
Hi Ladies,
Finished March blocks tonight.... with one day to spare... did these in two weeks with interruptions and the start of a new job.. so am pleased with myself. Getting better with the applique all the time but still need to work on smoothing out my curves a little more. Chooky can you please also mark me down for January as I did post a pic about my completed stitchery in my February post. Ta

Wait for me!!
Hi Ladies,
Have finished my March blocks, loved making these ones. I've been very silent as my daughter is having some health issues right now that are ongoing, I will keep up, but I might not be able to post or visit much for a while.
All the March blocks look lovely, well done to everyone x
March is completed:-)
Good evening,
I have finished the blocks for March in March!
You may find the purple traces of my trick pen (needs 2-3 more days to evaporate). Sorry for the not-so-perfect-photo, I took it now in the evening, because patience has never been my virtue to wait for tomorrow morning's nice daylight;-)
How are you doing? I am gardening as much as I can, I am so happy spring is here.
Have a nice evening, ladies, happy stitching!:-)
Hugs,
Maja

A long way behind but.........
Well I thought it was time I posted my progress so far...... I'm still a long way behind but I have made some progress.......
Everything sorted in a folder............. (I work best with organisation and order).. all the blocks arranged into "month" order and labelled with their place on the quilt (I'm a tad pedantic) :)
Even some small blocks cut ready for later..........
February so far..... all the small blocks finished and the large blocks have the blanket stitch done.... (I know the square's not in the centre but I'm trying to leave it there - the perfectionist in me says redo but I'm trying very hard not to).
March blocks - one small block finished and all the blanket stitch done....
I know I've a long way to go but I think I've discovered a new passion "EPP", Chooky said I would love it once I give it a go and she is so right.... wise words Chooky.
I'm working on the other blocks tomorrow ... wish me luck I might have more finished by the end of the month :)
Some gorgeous blocks finished by everyone .... great inspiration :)

WOOT WOOT MARCH IS DONE.....
My March blocks are complete.....
little Blocks - which I hate doing!!
and BIG blocks - which I love doing.
I am much happier with my finished blocks since I decided to try using an embroidery hoop. I have actually enjoyed doing the march blocks whereas I didn't enjoy doing the February blocks.
Have started doing the April blocks (with the embroidery hoop) so hopefully an early finish for me for April - I have a very busy month in April so I am thinking that by starting now I will get them finished by the end of April - that's the plan anyway.
I would just like to say that I am loving reading about everyone's progress, and seeing all the colourways that are being used - such a varied lot!! Looking forward to seeing all of the final photo's - the ones where all the blocks are put together!!!

March Blocks....
I am finished with the March blocks, way early this month. You can mark me off for March Chooky. I am really enjoying making these little blocks. I am also getting a bit faster at sewing them down as well. Now off to let my fingers rest.

March border
Here is the top border! I don't always feel like sewing the borders but know that I will be happy later on when the quilt can just be sewn together and quilted.
Now I can be marked off for March. Must get started on the April blocks soon!

March progress
I had yesterday afternoon in the sewing room and put together March's part of SKOW. I just need to sew the top borders and I will be up to date.
I changed "gardening all day" to just gardens as I really don't like gardening at all. I like looking at gardens and love to embroider the flowers but don't like the work involved in actually gardening.

March Blocks Finished!!
I'm happy to share my March blocks completed - and only 1 day late!! I'm enjoying the stitching but the sewing together seems to take ages!! Anyway I'm happy and I'm really loving seeing everyone elses combination of colours and fabrics - they all look fantastic!
The house block!
My flower block became simply "flowers" .... because I love them all!!
And this time I remembered to finish the top strips as well!!
And of course .... my favourite things!! Great to see how Chookyblue is inspiring everyone on to bigger and better things!! Great work everyone !! Fiona H xxxx

Finally ...
At last I have borders around the blocks that are finished with embroidered. So now is the month of May block began and not too far away :)
A collective praise for all the lovely TTS block that you all have done. It will be fun and see when everyone made their blocks finished and see how different it has become even though we sew the same pattern ..
Good luck with your continued work!

Finally! March Blocks...and...April, too!
Its Monday, the 4th day of April...I know March has come and gone...
Still recovering from Bronchitis....I've been able to make much progress on my hand work projects....so without further to-do:
I give you the March blocks
A different view...you'll need to click on them so you can see them better.
And....April blocks....
And....one block for the wall hanging...
So...I am no longer lagging behind!
I think this is my favorite stitchery...
I like the one with the heart and the angel one..
I think they will be part of the wall hanging, also.

First 3 Finished
I have finished my first three blocks. These are so much fun to stitch. I love how the variegated thread looks. It's fun to see everyone's blocks and fabric and thread choices!
