Weekend Sewing

Hello my friends.

This last weekend and then today,

I worked on my 

`Natures Journey`.

My little helper.

Checkered border.

A few of these where fussy cut in centres of nine patches

making up parts of the checkered border.

The applique border. I moved some to different places 

as the back grounds looked better that way.

We have had a lot of rain, so shadows from furniture.

Hopeful that the sun is shining for quilted quilt!

Outer pieced check border with paisley fabric added in.

Quilt top complete.

Now to get backing as have wadding and quilting to begin.

I hope to complete this in time.
