December complete

I have finished the target for December. It has been a learning curve for me with the needle turn but I am kind of liking it now.

I spent yesterday cutting all my little teeny tiny squares (and the bit bigger ones) and all the strips as well as all the necessary background blocks for the rest of the quilt.

I have also pieced all the 2 and 4 patch units so now when it comes time I will just have to decided which ones go where! I really need to keep reminding myself that it is supposed to be a bit scrappy and not get too carried away trying to "perfect" it

Hope everyone else is nearly there too!

It looks great De - yes a bit fiddly with those 1.5" squares. I find it hard to do 'scrappy' I get stuck on "what one should go there??"

It looks very good. I am off to run errands this morning. I need to pick up a few more pieces of cream prints for this project, then I'll sew those strips together and be finished with December. I have one more day and I'm going to make it.

Looks great De. I've been stressing about my fabrics too, finding what suits the applique & then changing my mind as they don't look good together. With so much neutral I don't think it's going to matter but fabric choise is not my strong point. xx

Looks lovely - it's definitely worth getting all the cutting out done all at once I agree.
