Here is my SKofW blocks for January.
Once again I did some changes...
For the chocolates block I found nice Confections fabric (designed by Jennifer Huber for R. Kaufman). I also replaced yum - word with nam ;o) Chocolates are really one of my favorite things... May I tell you a secret? At last Christmas I ate ALL TOO MUCH confections... several boxes...
Maybe that is the reason, why my trousers feel like shrunken... hm, :o/...
Let's look the other block now!
On that
I added finnish word kukkaniityt, which is the flowering meadow in english... or something like that...
I just love the summer and wild flowers; especially hare-bells are my favorites...
I hope you don't mind, if I sew sashing and border stripes later... (I'm planning to sew them after all applique and patchwork). If you wonder why... it's only that I haven't yet decided my stripe fabrics... and there is a new fabric range coming from Moda / 3 Sisters called 'Papillon', which I would like to use in this quilt...

It's only 7.30am here and I should be getting breakfast but I want your chocolates instead :)
Satu, I love the heart candies. Truth be told, I'd much rather have Chocolate Kisses by Hershey than the candies in a box of chocolates. Friends of mine are getting together to make chocolates in February. Just in time for Valentine's Day.
I like that you've added your personal touch. I've done so here and there, too. And plan to do even more as we stitch.

Satu - I love your heart chocolates and I love the fact that you are doing some of it at least in Finnish - and so you should!! Of course leave your stripes - especailly if there is some new yummy fabric coming along.
Yum! I mean nam! Those chocolates look delicious. We sure are learning a lot here at the stitch-a-long. I can say yum in Finnish now! (Not sure how to pronounce kukkaniityt, but nam I can handle!) Love your blocks!

I was out shopping yeateday and saw the fabric you used for your chocolates - it was very temoting but I resisted - especially since I have done my chocolate blcok.
