I only started on my blocks a few days ago, but as I am doing the blanket stitch on the machine it has come together quite quickly...I have given myself a deadline to finish December blocks before the end of the week.
the suit case is one of my favouritesthe international tag I blanket stitched a little further outside the tag so I could see the stitching more...wished I had also done it with the others as I quite like the effect
I will also add a button later instead of stitching one on
I only have the words to do in backstitch on the jeans and tea cup and then I can start piecing together.
Hope to be back soon with my finished December blocks

That is one sophisticated travel bag Lisa. Gorgeous!. xx
Looking good. Your colours are lovely. Now you are way ahead of me. Machine blanket stitch makes it sew quick and easy.
Looks great. The blanket stitching has come up so well. Did you use variegated thread in your back stitched words? Looks fantastic.
Love the blanket stitching. Did you applique first? I am new to applique and I was wondering if you did that then the blanket stitch or just the blanket stitch
I love the way it looks...I used a button, also and plan to use one in the middle of the daisy.
