Nearly Finished....

Nearly finished, just a few more hours needed. 

I am doing a little update post as I have not posted recently due to recovering from surgery.

I cut out all my applique background block at the start of the project.  Plus I also cut out the templates for the embroidery in plastic.

 

I am matching the thread colour for the embroidery to the fabric background. 

I embroider all the blocks first before starting on the applique.  I was on track to complete Chooky's recent attack plan then I had a few hiccups again! 

Here in the UK the May Day bank holiday weekend starts tomorrow, which means a long weekend to catch up on my blocks.  

Another Slow Starter

This is just a quick post.  Thanks to Chooky and Susan encouraging me to post my progress.  Due to surgery recently, I have to take the summer off work which gives me the chance to sit in my garden stitching most days for the next four months.
I cut all my blocks out at the beginning of this project.  Now I am feeling a little better I am stitching away. I love reading all your inspiring posts.  I will post pictures on my next post.

January Angel Wishes

Well it is still the last day of the month here in the UK.  I had finished my stitchery several days ago but only finished stitching the binding on this morning. I have made it into a wall hanging.

 

I received my Natures Journey pattern two weeks ago.  I have sorted some Moda fabrics from my stash.  I placed my pattern into a folder to keep in nice and make it easier to find in my box.
