Finally last weekend I got to do that big sigh, a project complete!!!
Having had that dreaded summer flu this past week, left me time to quilt when I wasn't sleeping. Friday saw me put the last quilting stitching in that border and yes, I did question my hand quilted flower border about half way around, but am glad that I persisted as I love it.
Saturday saw me cutting down and machine stitching the binding on, and then Sunday while my family worked in the garden I sat on the balcony and completed that last sigh stitch, I love my gardeners quilt and thank you for the inspiration and encouragement to continue on.

I love those colours - I can almost hear the pride and happiness you are feeling!
Hey Sonia! WELL DONE! Your quilt looks FABULOUS!! You're way ahead of me ... I still have to put borders on, never mind quilting. You should be so proud of your gorgeous quilt. I wish you many years of warmth and comfort as you snuggle under your 'Gardener's Journal', not just from the quilt, but also from the friendships you've made through this quilt-along! :0) Bear Hugs!
