Stop wishing March away you guys!

This photo (poorly taken photo even!) is to prove that I can stitch! I just haven't yet! All the March finishes I am seeing here are making me worry a little. Maybe I won't be able to do this stitch along! I actually started hyperventilating............

............. and then promptly stopped. It's the 6th of March and I have tonnes of time left! Phew! You overachievers are muddying the waters. I still have 25 days left. I'm good. Just pacing myself. Hopefully some others pacing themselves will leave reassuring comments here for me. Please?

PS (I'm not really upset with you guys who are posting finishes. I am loving them all. Keep up the good work! Slackers like me need LOTS of encouragement!)

LOL.......it looks like lots have finished but only a few have blocks done.....there is just so much excitement and activity it is wonderful............just look at the sidebar I have only got 7blocks on the sidebar and we should probably have a total about 261 so no need to stress there is plenty of time to get your blocks done.........

i'll be hunting you down later in the month if you haven't posted your finished blocks........

Here's some reassurance for you Kris...LOL. There is no need to panic! We have lots of days left, and the stitcheries are quite quick, especially if you are just using the one thread. I stitched my first stitchery over just 2 days, and that was only here and there too, not constant stitching. We all have PLENTY of time...remember to breathe :)

Well I have all the goodies to start but, I have another little stitchery quilt to finish before I start on Tis the Season, so no doubt I will have some major catching up to do shortly. On the flip side I ony have 5 blocks left of my other WISP to go.....

We can procrastinate together xx

Kris,
That's exactly the way I felt when I began GJ...it was my first ever group join and I worried that I could keep up...stop worrying, ..it doesn't take long to do these, unlike the GJ ones and so a very few have finished their 3 for March...I've just begun...You'll do fine.
Blessings,

There's plenty of time left-in fact 24 days! like you I am yet to start stitching- I joined up late and while I have the book I haven't decided on the fabric- use some from my stash or buy something new??? That is my dilemma and reason for procrastination!

It's just lots of month 1 enthusiasm Kris. Lets see if we can keep it up, knowing that life has a way of upsetting the best quilting plans when it feels like it. At least by year end we will have a great new Christmas Quilt to display! Tracee xx

Dont panic you will get there and perhaps you dont have as much free time as others to do the stitching as fast, YOU WILLGET IT DONE and no stressing allowed.

Don't worry Kris you won't be alone...I have cut out and traced but that is it...I was getting a bit "oh my I'm so far behind and I've still got to finish my GJ top" with so many posts popping up and the I realised...March only just started!!!! I'm not even going to put a stitch in for a week or so as I have other things that need to be done first...you are not a slacker...it's all good...and hey, remember the hare and the tortoise!!
