I decided pretty early on that I'd like to try and get two quilts made. I liked Chookyblue's idea of stitching double each month so at the end there's more options of projects or two quilts. I have cut out and pieced 12 blocks (6 for each quilt) and have another 12 blocks to go in four different fabrics. I have already finished 5 or the 6 (cause I'm doing double) blocks for March. I'm hoping tonight to get some more time and finish off the last one for March.
I have traced another 6 blocks off (I didn't look at the order on the sidebar - just kept going through the book tracing the next one)... and I'm hoping to have the other blocks all traced and ready to stitch for each month as required.
I'm actually aiming to be a bit speedier on one of the quilts so I can enter it in my local show in August. That's the plan....!!
