It the first day of spring in this part of the world. It was chilly but we celebrated by grilling chicken on the barbecue outside. It was excellent. My DH cooked.

It's Spring and a Finish
I'm happy to announce my March blocks for Tis the Season. I am so pleased with them. It's been great to see all the finishes starting to come in. Isn't it wonderful when projects turn out even better than you had hoped?
I've decided to do a second Tis the Season quilt. It will be given away-clearly I do not need two of them! The second one is being stitched in green and I haven't decided if the borders on the blocks will be all green or if I'll mix a little red in there. I'll post a picture when I finish the blocks for March.

lovely blocks, enjoy the rest of your spring, such a lovely time of year
I think we are thinking alike. I plan on doing a second quilt as well. And it is Spring here too. It was so pretty. About 80 degrees! I took the boys to the state park and we played in a stream. So wonderful!!!
It will be great doing a second one in different colours..

The first day of Spring just slipped my mind...we'd been having such warm Spring-like days and nights..then last night it was back at freezing again but it'll be better tonight...I've been doing extra blocks too.
