I'm Peggy from Quebec. An anglophone living in a predominiately francophone part of the province. That means I live 600 kms from Montreal. I belong to our local quilt guild and have been a member for at least 10 years. Quilting has become my main focus but I love embroidery and that is why I am here, to really, finally make a quilt including embroidery and applique! I am in awe of all the Australian stitcheries that I see and we don't tend to do this in Canada so getting my feet wet here. I did make a stitchery a few years ago and I enjoyed it:

I ordered the pattern last night and I hope that it gets here before February 1st! In the meantime, I will get my current project, a mystery quilt, off the table and live vicariously through all of you who are posting colour choices and pattern ideas! I can't wait to have my first homework deadline Chooky! ;). In passing, I a teacher ;)...apparently I love homework.
Nice meeting you all!
