For my stitching it has been a good Easter. It has been rather windy and a cold rain in between.
It became a hard job to make this block G. I laid out the fabrics and found out that there were too many stripes, so I had to change two fabrics. After that I got it all sewed together and the first block is done.
I know that it will take half a year or more before all the blocks are ready to be sewed together, so I made a block keeper too. I have seen a tutorial at Teresa's blog 'All Vintage Things' and have wished to make it for a long time so now it should be. Thank you to her.

Lovely flowery fabrics,Jytte.
Lucky you having sewn the G- block together. I have just started cutting, couldn`t wait, very eager to see my colours together.
Thank you Grethe. It is very difficult to choose the right fabrics. One thing is to see them together before cutting another thing is to see them in the block. That was my problem, but hopefully I have chosen right.
