I used fabrics that match a quilty wall hanging I made last year.
I have also done "a bit" of preparation for this years projects.
Mainly, the pieces are cut and some of the tracing is done. Each project is in a zip lock bag and the projects are tagged in the books.
I work 4 days a week - by the time I get home and do dinner and all that other stuff I really do not feel like pulling boxes of fabric out and cutting, so if I get a lot done while I'm on holidays, I can sew at nights when I am not hand stitching.
I know its a bit OCDish - but it works for me.
The only one not prepped is the Sewing Case and I just could not decide what fabrics to use - but after a catch up with my Best Sewing Mate today - I have the answer, so hopefully I will get that one organised this week. So far I have only had to buy one piece of fabric (half a metre) and some bag wadding - not too bad for 9 projects (oh - and a zip for the sewing case).
I wonder how many Thread Catchers you are going to make???

WOW! I am impressed!!! Can you help me too?! I have at least started to "think" about which projects need pre-planning, so that is good right?!
