Check out my 2 very cute thread catchers..........very simple, you were right Chooky, these could get addictive.........
....when I went to pull the lining into the little bag, I liked the effect it gave with a little bit peeking at the top, so decided to leave a bit at the top showing.......so for the second bag I added half inch to the lining pieces.
The house fabric I bought in a quilt shop in Tasmania whilst on a holiday as a kind of souvenir as it reminded me of the landscape in Tassie, so I'm pleased to have it used for something I will enjoy always to use in my sewing room, a nice reminder of a lovely anniversary holiday.
I think the little project a month idea is fantastic, Chooky, you're brilliant......
Now I need to go get super-organised with little project bags like our very clever friend Susan has inspired us to do........

Gorgeous fabrics and gorgeous thread catchers.
Hi Sandy
I do love that "landscape" fabric!
Can´t wait to be home again, to have my hands on all my stash, just to make more "whatever" catchers!
