I thought I had better post an update since ChookyBlue is calling in our quilts.
I stopped working on mine. I know you all gasped at that statement. Well, once a year my women's group has a Cultural Arts Day event and contest with entries in numerous categories with the stipulation that the article entered be completed in the year since the last event. I am entering my GJ quilt.
Here I'm holding us the GJ at one of our meetings.
I've been busy getting entries ready in other categories for this years event on September 29. I, can now, work on the TTS quilt but will not finish it until after that date. Of course, I can get it up to the last stitch on the binding and it will still qualify next year. I plan to begin on it this week. I have 14 or 15 blocks, I lost count but I want to make a couple of other projects in the book so I'd better get cracking. They will most likely be gifts. I am looking forward to having something new to stitch on as I finished all that stitching some time ago.Well, that is where I am now. Hopefully I can show some further progress soon.
