I do struggle with needle turn, so I am doing the good old buttonhole stitch…

Hi everyone…..I am the Peg mentioned at the top of the SAL blog….I sometimes fall into a bit of a heap and get a little side tracked with other projects….      Here is a photo of my completed Gardeners Journal…

And this is my version of Tis The Season…..

But sadly after that I did start and I had some mighty big plans,…. then falling into a  heap and being what one may call a slacko…but this year, the girls have wiped my slate and I must prove myself….(Please cross you fingers for me…LOL)

I am hoping my Christmas Wishes will be finished tomorrow, once again fingers crossed…

3 Blocks Stitched…

I am running a bit behind schedule, but I do have three blocks stitched……congratulations to everyone, the posts over the past few weeks have been amazing, and how good do all the blocks look…and how different they all are…

The slack one is just about there……..

It has been a very long time since I have made a post….I sort of lost the plot with GJ..

But I have been watching everyone’s progress…and congratulations…WOW…the finished quilts are awesome….

I set myself a goal two weeks ago…to have my quilt completed before GDITC..(12 months ago Chooky, Dale and I decided we would try and complete these quilts for show and tell)….Well Dale finished hers ages ago..Chooky has a finish (is the bind done Chooky)….and I was the slack one..anyway on the weekend I did finish my top…it has been quilted….the bind is on…and I have about 12 inches to sew down on that, so tonight my quilt will be finished……and I have three days to spare….LOL…….

This is my second block, getting lots of stitching done……I need to get to the sewing machine to put some more together…..take care Peg  ….:>)

Here it is my first block completed….I purchased my kit from Kerry at Cottage On The Hill about 5 years ago…such a good idea that we challenged each other  at GDITC….and then for Chooky to start the blog…..so much motivation ….thanks everyone….Peg..

5 year old kit.......

They made me do it you know.....(Chookyblue and Dale).....but I am very pleased we have decided to do this challange...this is my 5 year old kit (5 years how bad is that)....as well as my first completed block (I am out of sequence, but I am on the right one now)..Thanks to Chooky for setting up the blog it looks great....so let the stitch-a-long begin....Peg
