Calming down for fall....

Back from Birmingham with lots of new ideas and memories of beautiful Quilts. As promised I looked for quilts from Australia, and there was lots of great Quilts from "Down under"
I  only show this quilt here, but there are more on my blog. Jacobs-quilt.blogspot.com
I had a great weekend walking around lookin, shopping and talking with old and new friends..
There where about 1000 Quilts to look at and 300 shops...
So I needed some quiltet working time at home just to think  and remember it all....
Then it was great to have NJ to work and play with....
So that are the reason I can calm down and just wait for fall to to come...
Yes I feel great and love the quilt... I quilted it all over so I can use it watching TV when the cold days come..
It has been so fun to be a part of this SAL ,a grea idea.
So I want to say :Thank you to every one of you who has been with me on this trip.
Thank you Donna for let me in to this great group..
And if you see this Anni ,Thank you for the great pattern.
Now I cross my finger for another SAL..... Donna ?
Bit hugs to you all from Laila

This wonderful Laila - you are #2 to finish and so ahead of schedule!!!

Thanks so much for the other picture of the Sydney Opera House - I find that stunning - I can't imagine a quilt show with 300 stalls/retailers - I think you would need more than a day to have a decent look.

Congratulations again!!!
