An 'A' for me please!

Here it is..... all done and dusted......

I stitched the last stitch at 7pm GMT yesterday.... the 31st August!   OK... I know it's September today and I'm only just posting but it was a case of eat or post last night and I was famished.      You wouldn't want me to fade away to nothing now would you... some hope!

Thought I'd take a bit of a liberty here and show you another successful August NJ.....

this one is my pal Sallys.   That's her hiding behind it.    She doesn't have a blog so couldn't sign up for the SAL but she has been sewing along with me (and therefore you) since the beginning.  The outer border is actually a lovely rich brown..... don't know what on earth Windows 10 is doing to the colours in my photos but it's getting annoying!

I've got a secret.....   I read Sallys pattern (she got the full pattern from the get go) and I've cut out the 200 coloured squares for Month 8.  That makes me ahead of the game... for once.  Have another couple of weeks to wait before the next BOM arrives and I can start work..... tapping fingers on table here.

Hope all you girls are going great guns with your NJ's.   Lots of gorgeous variations on display here....  keep up the good work.

Hugs...

I love both of your versions. I cut all of my little coloured squares too. Just need to cut the light blue ones and get stitching. Here's hoping we can all make the end of September deadline.
