I have seen so many beautiful versions of this bag
What a great project for our Stitchalong
I'm a bit cross with myself as I didn't do the satin stitching of the hearts on the trees and the flower heads
I just got too excited to make the bag
... the back....
I was surprised how lovely and big it is
.... will hold lots of fabric ....
I love it....

Gorgeous fabrics for your bag, Fiona. It looks beautiful, and I agree, it is a good size.
Hugs...
Lovely Fiona! I can totally relate to wanting a finish....I often have the "I wish"!!
It looks great the way it is Fiona so don't be cross with yourself. Love the fabrics you have used. Hugs.....
Sew many different fabrics being used to make the tote..
I really like the way yours came together...
The stitchery looks fine without the satin stitch...
I love your Hunky Dory fabrics. They are great choice for this tote bag!
Looks great - well done on the finish.
How pretty is that! Love your choice of colours. I didn't exactly follow the stitchery. As I'm carrying it here and there, I ended up stitching the hearts instead of appliqueing. Oops! Thinking about how to fix that - or leave it! Maybe I'll make two. Just love your finish. That's the best thing about the SAL - seeing the great choice in colours. The other is the deadline and the push to get sewing!
Your tote is really pretty!
Oh Fiona your bag is gorgeous - so cheery and fresh. I love it. I wish I hadn't done the satin stitch on my bags stitchery - it is definitely my least favourite stitch!!!! Well done xx
i'm going to do all the other stitching before I get to the satin stitch.......see how much time I have then.......love your bag.......
Great fabrics looks fantastic.
