I have to admit to being very slack with my SKofW and I have fallen way behind! After giving my sewing room a big tidy up, and after visiting this blog, I felt the urge to get back to it again!
So here's my effort after this weekend (I did work Saturday morning) but I do feel quite pleased with what I have accomplished.
One thing I have come to realize is that when life throws you a few hardships, sewing is the best medicine!! My 15 year old son is due to have surgery next week to remove a benine bone Tumour on his arm, so the smaller blocks I will be packing for hospital and hope??? to get some stitched!
I hope all the Mums out there have had a lovely Mothers Day! I have been totally spoilt by my 3 kids and of course hubby!

What a great effort for a weekend! All the very best for your son's surgery.
Yur blocks look great - I am sure that stitching will help to distract you a little - Hope all goes well for your son.
Wow Lisa!! You're 'way' behind?!!! Lol! Goodness, then I must be SERIOUSLY behind, lol! Looking forward to catching up once this uni unit has finished in a couple of weeks! ... Your SKoW looks gorgeous!! The colours work fabulously together, and I know you will just make this look gorgeous! ... Good luck for the surgery next week! Will be praying & thinking of you both! Hugs xo
Love all your blocks Lisa :)
That's what I like about these quilts, once the prep is done, you can take them anywhere and work on them while you sit.
Hope all goes well with your son.
