I need your advice !

I knew why I was afraid of the tree block... more exactly of all the little flowers !

It's a disaster !!! I can't get the shape I want...
So I decided to put felt flowers !

And now, how making the center ?
A button ? green or blue ? or pink felt ? or matching fabric ???

What do you think ??? I need your help, I can't decide !!
Instead I made the next block !!

Much easier !

What do you mean 'disaster'? :-)
I'm aiming for what you have in the first picture. If I can get that I'll be tickled pink. The middle bit gets covered up. It's the number of them that has me worried.
The felt flowers do look good though.

Mine doesnt have flowers! LOL! I would use the buttons or felt. If I decided to put flowers on my tree I will be using yo-yos which is what I did for my flower under my rainbow to - just going to add a button to the centre.

The flowers were also testing for me. I ended up blanket stitching them. I love your felt versions and think buttons would look nice or felt centres. Hugs

I like the felt ones too - a great idea. I like either of the felt or buttons in the middle - or you could try beads if you have them - but I like the look of whatever you put in th3e middle being smaller - like the buttons - I know that's not the Anni design but I think smaller is better. And yo-yos are a great idea too.
You rainbow is lovely.

PS: I think green looks better than blue but you could do a mixture of sizes and colours depending on what you have.

I love your felt flowers & I like the green button best. I haven't done my tree block yet but I've chosen a fabric with flowers so I'll be taking the easy way. Btw your applique looked good to me but you know best if it's right for you.

I like the needle turn, have you tried it with the centre stitched on ?

Definitely felt flowers with pretty buttons! I agree with Susan: a mixture would be really nice. It looks wonderful! x
