I've 'built' the house, 'planted' the two tall trees and a couple of shrubs (though they're not flowering yet!), and I'm currently 'building' the fence. Still some work to be done before this house is finished. Mind you ... I'm finding all these straight lines a bit of a chore to stitch. In fact, it took me almost as long to stitch the roof as it did for my Beloved Geek Boy to replace our house roof in real life a few years ago! Tee! Hee! Hee!
I'm hoping to spend some more time stitching this weekend, so will see how I get along. I promise to come back and show you once I finish the block. I wonder if the stitching would go quicker if I treated myself to a nice cup of lemon-scented tea??? I think I shall test the theory! :0) Til next time ...

Be happy that you are this far:))
It looks great! Things definately take time;wish this was all I did.
But then again, that would have been boring as no chatting around.
Happy Stitching the rest of the block!!
good progress.......grab a cuppa tea and get back to your stitching.........nice and relaxing.........
Hey Kris, I think I've got these disappearing days sussed. Haven't we just had the shortest day, in the southern hemisphere? Therefor, aren't we missing out on time? As dumb as it sounds I'll use it as my excuse, LOL.
You can always blame Bunnings they didn't have the flowers in - the paint was sold out - no more pickets . It is endless, however the house is taking on a nice warm feeling.
Kris, it is looking lovely, at least you tackled the house this month, I looked at it and decided it would never happen in June, and yet I still haven't quite finished the 'easier' block I chose! That'll teach me for trying to take shortcuts! Keep up the good work.
It's coming along well Kris, love the way you described buildingthe house and planting the trees and shrubs!
