1st SAL.....Peg, Dale and I committed to stitching Anni Downs - A Gardener's Journal in March 2010. We have set the time frame as completed March 2011. I blogged about this on my blog thinking maybe one or 2 others may join us and lots of girls indicated an interest so I decided to start this blog where we can all encourage each other to meet the goals set along the way................
2nd SAL ......well so many of the girls wanted to continue on with another project and some new girls joined us and now approx 91 girls are stitching Natalie Bird's Tis the Season. March to Sept 2011
Where are we now.....3rd SAL....many girls want to stick with the SAL so now we have moved onto Anni Downs Some Kind of Wonderful - My Favourite Things Quilt.......Oct 2011-Oct 2012............Welcome.....Chookyblue

Puts hand up sheepishly...........

Pardon me lovely ladies, but I just wanted to say what a wonderful job you have all been doing on your blocks.
And just so you don't all think I have dropped off the stitch-a-long, here is a pic of the stitcheries I have done so far. I am way behind but I don't mind as I have been slowly progressing at my own slow pace LOL.
I have completed the stitcheries for the first 2 blocks and the next lot is ready to go, including that huge house!!

you are so lucky you have shown some progress here......lol......they look great.....now you need to cut some fabrics up..........bring them next weekend and I will help you cut it all out...........because then you could show 2 finished blocks........
the house isn't too bad cause you get lots of easy up and down straight lines......

Hi Anita! Don't be put off by the house...it has alot of straight stitching but its so rewarding once you've finished, one of my favourite stitcheries!
