As per my last post, here are my February blocks. I have not trimmed them yet and do not look to closely at the applique. This is a learning adventure for me and I just can not get those hearts right, but I have now got some of that semi-water soluble applique paper to help me on my applique journey.
I call the wonky applique my personal touch and those words that come out off my mouth are also part of getting that personal touch .... haha.
I have started March but have run out of thread for my blanket stitch which I am using Blue Wren from Cottage Garden Threads but they are on order.

Great finish....
I am using the paper too..........it is going pretty well........I don't have the tools but I am managing so far with a pointy pair of scizzors in my right hand working to the right and just my fingers on my left hand........
nice blocks and goodluck with March/April......
hope the thread arrived very soon.......
I am hearing you... my circles are sometimes very wonky..... lol.... its looking very good though..
Your blocks look very nice. This is a learning curve for me too. The appliqué paper and Lynettes sticks are the secret for me. Keep at it...practise makes perfect...so they say. Happy Stitching!
Beautiful blocks. I am using some CGT threads for another project and have run out too - its a little frustrating. Especially when you are on a roll and what to get it all completed.
