we have progress.............

The plan of attack for me for the weekend was my SAL quilt I had row one and some of row 2 traced onto the appliqué paper and fabrics cut for a couple of blocks......... but by the end of the weekend I had all the  blocks traced onto applique paper.......
picked out heaps of the fabrics and got things all organised into plastic sleeves and into rows...........yep feeling a bit too organised but hey there is always a first..............lol

.....changed 3 of the blocks to make it more "me".............cut all the background and weaveline for the back of the blocks........
Finally I have one block completely finished............
and I had the pleasure to see Janice put her quilt together.............she had rows and strips.............now she has a quilt top but I'm not going to ruin  her show and tell so here is a snippet...........i'm sure when she gets a chance she will get a post up..............but it was very exciting seeing it grow...........
Keep Stitching............

Way to go, Chooky!
Its good to see some progress from you, too.
I finally have my last block (the one with the chair) designed and as soon as it is stitched, I'll be putting the last row on and have a top. Then I'll see if I can get it quilted. I'm not sure about the backing. Have to make a trip to the quilt shop.
