Some blocks for my SKow

Up until now I have only posted pictures of blocks when the section was done so I could get ticked off.  But as the deadline approaches I have not stuck to the schedule as much - some blocks are easier/quicker than others so I did some work on them.  So here are some blocks from the last 2 rows that are ready to go after trimming back to size.

The fabric I used for the heart was just big enough (though there is a tiny join in it) - I thought it was so appropriate since I have 2 daughters - one blonde - one brunette.

(Both I and my Best Friend have short hair so I changed that too.)

I have prepared the cat and butterflies and "chair" block.
My (blonde) daughter saw the "pet cat" and said "Where's the pet dog???  The cat belongs to the brunette who no longer lives here (she got married) though the cat still lives here.  But blonde daughter has a dog - so following the lead by BugzRugz I am going to try to turn the cat into a dog - mmm should be a challenge for someone with no drawing skills  but I do have a Lynnette Anderson book here that might help.  And he needs to be a pale beige - that will also present a challenge since I have white backgrounds.
Stay tuned for progress on the dog (and the "Chair").

Your blocks are beautiful. I love the puple dress on the "best friends" block.

Make the head more pointed at the chin and the ears longer....add a bone...it should work fine. Maybe you could use a light beige with a print of a different color. My cat is yellow on the block when my actual cat is black. Were the other blocks for the last row easy, I'm starting mine now.
