March Done!
Here is my March section, finished....I have April done except for the strip......I changed "Gardening All Day" to "Growing Flowers" which is what I do because I enjoy the beauty....I do not enjoy gardening....I tried to make my house look like the one we live in with red brick and a red roof...We do not live in a 2 story but I didn't want to change that too much...
On the circle flowers, I learned that if I make a running stitch and kind of gather the ends, it helps to turn them under. I added a button for the center of the daisy.....In the next section, I plan to do a bear where the shoes are....

Wonderful! I agree with the change of words to growing flowers, gardening all day sounds a bit strenuous! Tracee xx
Wonderful Sammie.... such a cheerful quilt...

Totally agree with this "Gardening all day" isnt it better to sew all day? and have someone else do the gardening?? and besides it makes your hands dirty. Your blocks look great. Must do my little squares and get them joined - so I can post my pics.
Your house looks lovely! I love how different everyone's quilts look, but how the same they look too!
well done.xx
I do that gathering stitch around the circles too. I use a plastic circle template, gather around edge, pull up gathers around the circle and then steam set with the plastic circle still inside. When you take out the plastic circle before appliqueing the fabric remembers the circle and goes right into shape.
