Hello From Perth, Western Australia

Hi, I am Tracee from Perth (the WA one) and so happy to be joining my first SAL & with a new blog to go with it. After many fabric choices and changes I have decided to go with a red & white colourscheme.

I need some advice though - I'm still not sure about the red & white spot so what do you fabric connoisseurs think? Right, wrong or just OK???

Only four more sleeps & as you can see I haven't traced my stitcheries yet, but it's on this weekends 'to do' list, unfortunately behind the dreaded cleaning.....

Happy stitching
Tracee xx

I'm no fabric connoisseur, but I would wait until a bit later on, it fits in with your colour scheme quite well though. Remember stitching first, cleaning last :)

Happy posting fellow new blogger! I'd love to say that your fabric combination is really lovely. I like the combinations of florals and shapes.I still haven't sorted mine out....can't decide. Happy stitching to you too!

oh yes stitching first house cleaning last..........lol.........I like the fabrics you have chosen........I would leave it as is until you start to border some blocks and if it isn't working then change it but I like the fabrics you have chosen.........

Your fabrics look great to me, but it's more important how you feel about them than what any of the rest of us think.

Your choice looks good to me and if when you make up the blocks and it doesnt look right a little reverse sewing is called for.
