1st SAL.....Peg, Dale and I committed to stitching Anni Downs - A Gardener's Journal in March. 2nd SAL ......well so many of the girls wanted to continue on with another project and some new girls joined us and now approx 91 girls are stitching Natalie Bird's Tis the Season. March to Sept 2011...............
3rd SAL....many girls want to stick with the SAL so now we have moved onto Anni Downs Some Kind of Wonderful - My Favourite Things Quilt.......Oct 2011-Oct 2012.........
Where are we now.....
4th SAL 2013...is numerous smaller projects from the previous 2 books Tis the Season and Some Kind of Wonderful plus some projects from Red Home by Natalie Bird approx 60 ladies stitching together.........

5th SAL 2015..........inspired to continue we are doing another quilt project.....Anni Downs newest quilt Natures Journey.....
6th SAL 2017.............A Holly Cottage Christmas by Michelle Ridgway.......once again the pattern is in an affordable book so it is easy for everyone to join in...........and you can raid your stash for the fabrics........or lash out and buy a the whole lot........this SAL will be run by Fiona aka Bubz Rugz and Raewyn........

You girls have achieved so much...........so many wonderful projects..........
I have got them all on the go if they aren't finished............the last 3-4 months sewing has been very difficult..........but they will get finished.............one day.........

A massive thanks to Susan my assistance whip cracker she has been amazing and so helpful for me when things got a little hectic here she just slide into the controls..........the blog would have been terrible if it wasn't for her assistance......THANKS SUSAN............

As for 2014 - I will have to see what I can manage..............I already know I have a few things on my plate........that is without the unknown......but then I may need a good distraction...............
I have a couple of ideas (which I am sure you will love) floating around in my head......I will decide in January what to do and I will do a post here so you know if there will be a SAL 2014.......

This year you have done english paper piecing, stitcheries, applique, zippers, quilting and piecing and you have done so well......CONGRATULATIONS.............

Please continue to post here if you are finishing up projects........especially previous SAL projects.....

Enjoy your stitching

A huge thank you to Susan and you Chooky for running the SAL projects this year. It is the first time I joined and loved getting a push along to finish projects out of those lovely books I had sitting on the bookcase.
Have a fabulous break and All the Best Wishes over the Festive season and for the New Year.

Thanks Chookyblue for allowing me to join in the stitch-a-long in 2013. I had a great time and completed some excellent projects. It was great being inspired by all the ladies here on the journey. I hope you are able to take some time out so you can be distracted from your busy year ahead.
Many thanks to both you and Susan for the great blog and friendships that have been created.

Thanks to you, Chooky!!! I'll post my last project in few days, I hope. Curious for the next SAL!!!! :) Hoping it will be a big project: I love king-size quilt and I think the stitching along is perfect to make it finished!!!! I can't see any new book fora a SAL, but perhaps we can take any old book by Annie Downs or other wonderful desigers... or somthing will appear edited on dicembere, perhaps!!! :) So curious!!!! :)

Thanks for running this and thanks to Susan as well.... It is such a fun way of getting things done and I know I wouldn't have tried some of those projects without it....

I think it is you who deserves the THANKS Chooky. If not for your perseverence with us all those lovely projects wouldn't have been made. A big THANKS to Susan as well for filling in when needed. To get together in 2014 would be great but only if you have the time. Hugs........
