Back in business with SKOW quilt :-)

Time flies, and life came in the way of keeping up with my SKOW last year, and it was put on the back burner.
I hade finished all the blocks but 3, and the blocks were neatly stacked in a box.
Well - a box of blocks gives no quilt....... ;-)

I am in the process of going through my project boxes, and I thought I would like to finish this quilt too, this year! I deserve a finished quilt - I love the design!

I have lost track of which blocks belongs to which month of the BOM - sorry - please bear with me - I will also do the rest of the quilt  "helter skelter". Yes, I know, I am a mess ;-)

I am cutting from my fabric collection, and I can use some of the light fabrics for other projects too - I better hurry up.

This is what it looked like in the beginning of the week (above)

And after a couple of days putting in some work every day the project looked like this (above). It started to look like a quilt, and I have been digging out all the suitable strips for the sashings.

Anyone else having this quilt on the back burner ?
Do you want to join me in the effort of getting the top done by the end of October (or before) ?

I need to trace some applique for later today :-)

Hanne - you have made great progress! no matter what month is what now - a goal to finish by the end of October is a great idea...If you look back a few posts you will see Shez is also working on hers . . .

Well Done Hanne!! ... I've actually finished off another block, and almost put the third row together (The three blocks I have left to finish are from the fourth (2) and fifth (1) rows), so getting there. I'll try to get a photo of that one up in the next day or so. I'd actually like to get my top finished by the end of this month, but October seems like more of a realistic goal (I've blown through at least 5 of them already in regards to this quilt!!) ... I have also finished off the SKoW sewing bag & needlecase this month too though!! :)
