Tis the Season bag

Hello my friends.

Hope you are getting lots of stitching done as I have.

A few days into July and my `Tis the Season` bag is complete.

I changed the stitching and made as a purse bag for me to use in December.

With a pocket for keys and another for anything else plus room for my wallet.

A day of rain so lighting is not that good.

I quilted the hexagon shapes on the back and inside the hexagons a 1/4"in. 

Heart shapes in the other areas.

Love how it looks.

This is showing that I used my blue `Frixion` pen to mark shape.

Then I stitched 1/8th inside line to hold my hexagons.

After that I was able to press as pen fades with heat!

Once that was done I used my cutter and ruler to cut shape.

Then I noticed that I had two hexagons  that blended in with other fabrics.

So I carefully replaced these with fabric used for the back of my bag.

Love my little bag. Now I will sort what I want to use for next months project.
